Multi Engine

Petaluma Airport is home to AEROVENTURE, our training facility, and located in Northern California’s beautiful wine country one hour North of San Francisco. Petaluma Airport, 069, is an uncontrolled airport which allows efficient training free from ATC delays and distractions. We are located minutes from Santa Rosa’s Charles M Schultz Airport, KSTS, with its ATC tower and full array of instrument approaches. Also nearby is Napa Airport, KAPC, with an array of approaches as well.

THE AIRPLANE

Our multiengine training is conducted in a BEECHCRAFT BARON 55. This aircraft was recently refurbished with leather seats and the engines overhauled. The panel and avionics were upgraded and include a Garmin 430, Collins HSI. Bose X headsets round out an airplane designed for the discriminating client. The Baron has superior flight characteristics and sufficient performance. The benefit to you is accelerated training, fewer learning plateaus, lower costs and a more enjoyable experience.

THE TRAINING

Our flight training follows a standardized training syllabus. You know what to do and what is expected in every training lesson. Every pilot learns the appropriate procedure to be applied in every abnormal condition before you execute. Private pilots are trained in all appropriate flight phases and introduced to Crew Resource Management (CRM). Commercially rated pilots will have more intensive CRM to ease the transition to a flight crew position. Ground training and flight simulators are utilized to reduce aircraft time and reduce cost.

Our courses are geared to you. Whether you plan to fly your own twin and just want a
