Born again?

What does born again mean?

It means to be born of the spirit as well as of the flesh. At birth, we are born as a baby (womb, flesh). If we believe on Christ, then we are born again (spirit, holy) | When we believe that Jesus Christ is the way the truth and the life, then we also believe that God is his true father. By believing this we receive of his spirit, which is created within us and we are now born again of incorruptible [spiritual] seed. |
1Pe 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. | 1Jo 3:9 KJV - Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. | The believer can't 'sin' in the spiritual 'seed', which is the context. Anyone can sin by the flesh. This spiritual seed given us cannot be removed nor destroyed because it is incorruptible. By the word of God it is given and so therefore it will be everlasting. Just as the father and his son are also everlasting. In our flesh we may fall time and time again from Gods word, and therefore need Gods help in restoring us back to our walk with him, which began when we first knew him. Jesus himself spoke of this being born again and what it meant: |

John 3:1-8  There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again [first in the womb, then again - (which means in the Greek - {from above}], he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water [in the womb] and of the Spirit [God's spiritual nature], he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh [in the womb]; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again [born of spirit as well as of flesh in the womb]. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. | Nicodemus was presenting a very non spiritual understanding of the thing Jesus was telling him. Jesus however was speaking of a future prophesy which would come to pass on the day of Pentecost - when people could then be born of God. When we are born in water in the womb, we are considered born of the flesh - in order for us to be born again, we must first have been born in the womb. When we are born of God it is not of the flesh, but of the spirit. The spirit which cannot be seen nor felt by us in our present bodies but it is created within us at the moment of the new birth by God (by no ethereal experience; Satan's play). This new (Godly) creation gives us the ability to spiritually communicate with our heavenly father, by revelation and more. At Christ's appearing (rapture) this spirit within us will blossom into it's fullness, and we will then be given a new spiritual body. Then we will know things in the full true light and not clouded by our limited earthly vision. |

1Jo 3:1-24 KJV - Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. | All Christians, at the rapture. | Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. | Unbelievers, as they are damned. | And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. | Christ was pure | Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. | Believe or deny Christ (antichrist).. 'sinneth' is figurative. Is spiritual in context. | Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. | Satan originated sin, so is the father of it. | For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. | In the 'spiritual' seed only, not fleshly sin aspect (we aren't perfect in all points) | In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. | Differing between evil (Satan's seed), and good folk (God's seed). | For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. | LOVE! | Not as Cain, [who] was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous. | Element of evil | Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you. | Persecution; mockery, prison, torture, death. | We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not [his] brother abideth in death. Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him. | Hate is of Satan period. | Hereby perceive we the love [of God], because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down [our] lives for the brethren. | Be of good service, help. | But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels [of compassion] from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? | Are we proving good, by denying our fellows (peoples) natural (not evil) needs; shelter, food, etc? | My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him. For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. | Self condemnation kills hope. | Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, [then] have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us. |

I think the above scriptures speak for themselves fairly well, yet riddled with figures of speech and babble. Love God, and be good. Those who hate (dwell in), are cursed eternally (damned). But those who aren't sure of their fate, maybe should reconsider things. After all, God still is awaiting those whom are lost.
