Jesus?

Who is Jesus?

A man (human male), and also the only "true" son of God. Jesus Christ has long been taught by tradition as the second person of the Trinity. However scripture declares him as 'the only begotten Son of God'. The few instances which appear otherwise are explained at the bottom of this page. |
Matt 1:18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together [had sex], she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. | Luke 1:35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost [spirit of God] shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest [God] shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. | Child - Jesus (a Nazarene), and the true messiah. Conceived by his virgin mother Mary, through Gods holy supernatural act (virgin birth). Born in a lowly and hidden manger (ox stall), after his parents swept him away from the evil king Herod's grasp. Jesus' humble life was spent learning and teaching the Jews about God, and performing miracles for their benefit. Declaring the kingdom of heaven and God, and the road to salvation to the Jews (not gentiles). With his Jewish apostles by his side, ever observing his presentations with wonderment. Till it was time to say his sad goodbye to the people. Captured by the Romans, on a traitorous tip from Judas the bad egg (of the original 12 apostles). The betrayer, possessed by Satan. Whom afterward shamefully committed suicide. Crucified - Gods plan. He was sentenced to death by the Romans, at the evil request of the religious Jewish leaders. Mocked and tortured before hand, he was led wearing a thorny crown, to the execution hill. Nailed to his cross, with other criminals, he died painfully. Following his death, there was a massive earthquake, which tore the Jewish temple curtain in two (significant event*).. full story. Jesus paid the sin ticket for all mankind, by his sinless death on the cross (innocent by Roman law). Technically brutally murdered, by the hatred cries of the devils children (Jewish religious leaders). That was his end purpose on earth (the ultimate human sacrifice). *The tearing open of the temple curtain, was the sign the of the new age. Breaking the barrier between God and man, and uniting Jew and gentile in holy fellowship. Impact to be fully unveiled later, on the day of Pentecost. Resurrected - Gods plan. Jesus was then buried, and the tomb sealed. However he escaped in his resurrected body, to present himself before the people, and visibly ascending into the sky as a witness to them. Now Jesus is in the mysterious realm of heaven residing at Gods right hand, awaiting his appointed hour to return to earth. |

Hbr 1:1-3 KJV - God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by [his] Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of [his] glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; | The highest of the lower thrones.

1Cr 15:20 KJV - But now is Christ risen from the dead, [and] become the firstfruits of them that slept. For since by man [came] death, by man [came] also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. Then [cometh] the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy [that] shall be destroyed [is] death. For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under [him, it is] manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all. | Incomprehensible to the human mind, but noted in Revelation 21 & 22. |

Rev 21:1-5 KJV - And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God [is] with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, [and be] their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. | Rev 21:12 KJV - And had a wall great and high, [and] had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are [the names] of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: | Rev 21:16-18 KJV - And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal. And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred [and] forty [and] four cubits, [according to] the measure of a man, that is, of the angel. And the building of the wall of it was [of] jasper: and the city [was] pure gold, like unto clear glass. | Rev 21:22,23 KJV - And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb [is] the light thereof. | Rev 21:25 KJV - And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. | Rev 22:4,5 KJV - And they shall see his face; and his name [shall be] in their foreheads. And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever. |
