Rev 6:1-8 = I watched as the Lamb opened the first of the seven seals. Then I heard one of the four living creatures say in a voice like thunder, "Come!" I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest. When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, "Come!" Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other. To him was given a large sword. When the Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, "Come!" I looked, and there before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, "A quart of wheat for a day's wages, and three quarts of barley for a day's wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!" When the Lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, "Come!" I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth. | As it is in battles, the white horse (war, hatred) always comes first, followed by red horse (bloodshed, gruesome). The end result is the pale horse (death, oblivion) and hades (the grave), by various global aspects; sword (military force?), famine (economy collapse?), plague (malnutrition?), and wild beasts (earth animals?). Note: Many Christians say that this prophecy is directly related to Jesus's prophecy on Mt. Olives. However it is not exactly the same, though similar in effect. Rather this is the culmination (end) of what occurs afterwards (global scale), during mans final hour of Gods judgment (Trial; Tribulation hour, Wrath hour). When the presence of God is wholly gone from this earth (Rapture), no more Christianity option. At that time, Satan will have full reign over the earth (Antichrist; beast, 8th king), and this 4 horse prophecy here marks the very beginning of his short (7 year), but terrible reign (the worst ever in history). Not having any Godly resistance to hinder his efforts (Christians), the world will be his to control and command. As it was in certain of the ancient narcissistic kings (Nebuchadnezzar, etc), he (Antichrist) will demand complete worship and obedience (666, mark of beast), which represents totally slavery of the people (through fear or acceptance). Enforced through extreme deception, and intense oppression. Those whom oppose him (refuse, and resist his dark demands), will be sought out and slaughtered like earth animals (few will likely escape that way), but will be also spared eternal doom. But those whom do escape the beast's grasp, will live harshly in hiding (fugitives), and later also incur the fullness of Gods wrath hour (middle of great tribulation time?). However also will be spared eternal doom, as they wisely resisted the beast. Those whom give in to the beast's desires will be damned, as they will also incur the wrath of God, plus be forever cursed (doomed). The majority will follow him to their destruction and doom, as indicated in the battle of Armegeddon. Those whom miraculously survive all (alive), will also be allowed to dwell in Christ's millennium kingdom, till they die. Afterwards will be the Great White Throne judgment, wherein all will be righteously judged; Satan, Christians, Mankind. Those whom are written in the book of life (God is merciful, yet also just), will also be spared the lake of fire (eternal death), where Satan and his followers will be cast. If you think only in biblically philosophical terms (figuratively), remember Gods plagues on Egypt. They were very real (not illusions), and their effect devastating to the Egyptians, though also delivering to the Jews. Also recall the other ancient wraths of God; the flood (Noah), Sodom and Gomorrah, etc. God does not tolerate evil in any form whatsoever, but is also very forgiving of mankind, and very very very patient (2000+ years?). But he also judges (brings effect) today during this age of Gods grace (a period of yet unknown duration), as with; Germany (Hitler), Iraq (Saddam), America (911), etc. Events or situations not represented in the written biblical prophesies (bible) per se, yet not all of Gods involvements with mankind are (most aren't). In fact God personally judges and praises each of us on a daily basis, whether we be Christian or not (atheist, other religion). God does not discern us by our faiths, but rather by our actions and mindsets. We either are for God, or Satan, simple as that. There simply is no in-between zone. And in the last dark hour, that aspect will be made very painfully clear to those living in that era of mankind. |
